Your new blanket comes rolled up with a handmade leather strap, making it ready for any adventure. The horizonte collection simplifies the intersection of the sky and the earth into three bands of color. Creating a calming collection of colors perfect for inside or out. They are big enough for a 2 - 4 person picnic and roll up in thirds for easy transport. The original blanket designs are created by a mother/daughter team at their home base in the bay area and hand woven in Mexico by skilled artisans. The leather straps are hand-made out of vegetable-tanned leather that ages nicely with use.
Blankets are machine washable on cold gentle cycle, lay flat to dry.

About Caminito:
Caminito was born to celebrate the local craft and traditions of Mexico and California.
Previously known as Nipomo, they rebranded to Caminito in Spring of 2022. Their new name, Caminito means small wandering path. For this new chapter Caminito will be directing their focus toward celebrating life’s simple joys. Take the slow road and admire the shapes in the clouds. Born on the border of California and Mexico, they were raised at a cultural crossroads. As a mother and daughter team (Elizabeth and Liz) they collaborate with skilled artisans from their home country of Mexico. The design process starts at their Bay Area studio, taking inspiration from its diverse landscape. The colorful blankets come straight from a family run business in the heart of an old artisan city in Mexico. The leather straps are handcrafted in their San Diego studio and ship all goods from there. Each item is created as a tribute to Mexico’s color and craft.
